Welcome to Arc-Ademia ("we," "us," "the Service"). By using arc-ademia.com or signing up for any plan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What we provide

Arc-Ademia is an AI-powered welding tutor. We provide a chat interface and weld-photo analysis powered by large language models, plus access to a structured welding curriculum library. The Service is provided "as-is" for educational and guidance purposes.

Important safety disclaimer. Our photo analysis and chat are learning guidance, not certified weld inspection. We do not certify welds, guarantee weld integrity, or substitute for hands-on instruction, certified inspectors, or destructive/non-destructive testing (bend, RT, UT). Welding involves real hazards — always follow your equipment manual, applicable codes, and local safety regulations.

2. Accounts and access

You must be at least 18 to subscribe to a paid plan.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
One account per person. Sharing accounts is not allowed.

3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Free tier provides limited use (5 chat messages per day) with no charge.
Membership ($19/month or $180/year) provides unlimited chat and full curriculum access. Billed automatically to your payment method on file.
You can cancel anytime from the customer portal (linked in your account sidebar). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no further charges.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Arc-Ademia to:

Generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or misleading content.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service.
Misrepresent AI-generated guidance as certified inspection.
Submit content you don't have the right to share.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of photos and questions you submit. By submitting them, you give us a limited license to process them through our AI providers solely to deliver the Service to you. We don't use your submitted photos or chats to train AI models.

7. AI limitations

AI responses may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on AI guidance for decisions that could cause injury, property damage, or financial loss. Always verify safety-critical information with qualified human experts.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For significant changes affecting paid subscribers, we'll notify you and offer a pro-rated refund if applicable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arc-Ademia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
